The Shooting Skills Academy Curriculum
Session I 2009 at Limestone: July 16-19 (Thurs-Sun)
Session II 2009 at W&L: July 24-27 (Thurs- Sun)
This unique camp offers advanced instruction in the fundamentals of shooting.
Instruction focuses on the following skills:
catching and finishing inside
perimeter shooting
setting up your shot in all areas:
Inside play
Off a dodge
On the perimeter
cuts, picks and screens
shot placement & accuracy
The morning and afternoon sessions are dedicated to the development and mastery of shooting. Each camper will shoot the ball an average of 200 times a day.
The evening sessions offer the unique opportunity to work against campers from the Defense Only camp held concurrently with the Shooting Skills Academy on the campus of Washington and Lee University. All campers receive instruction from experienced coaches and college players. Enrollment is limited to 85 overnight campers.
Camper to Counselor ratio is 7:1
